INTRODUCTION

Welcome! I’m a speculative fiction author working on many new books. Here on my website, you can keep up with what I’m working on.

What is “Arcreonis“? It is the title of my upcoming fantasy novel series, containing the stories I am looking forward to writing the most. It is the continuing story of the people of a fictional world called Aeruul, with 5 books set within four eras of time spanning thousands of years of history. (Click here for a teaser first-draft prologue to the first book.)

BIOGRAPHY

Noah Gallagher was born in American Fork, Utah in November of 1996. At the turn of the millennium his family moved to New York state, where he spent the formative years of his life. In grade school he quickly developed (and later perfected) the habits of doodling through math class, not talking to people, and procrastination.

In the summer of 2013 his family once gain relocated, this time to St. George, Utah, where he finished his first book. After toiling through school for two more years, Noah earned his high school diploma in 2015 (held together with lots of duct tape) and went into off-and-on neurotic hibernation for another two years before eventually coming to terms with (and later being officially diagnosed with) social anxiety disorder.

In January 2018, a promising new life chapter began as he left home to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Las Vegas, Nevada, followed by Columbus, Ohio.

Upon returning home in December 2019, he studied history and English at Brigham Young University–Idaho for a time. During 2020 he wrote his second book, Seclurm: Devolution, and with it launched his hobby-career as a self-published author in April of 2021, writing two more books over the course of the next year–Cultivation and Soulcage.

In early 2023, he was properly diagnosed with ADHD, which explained a whole lot of things.

His major influences with regards to story and creativity include JRR Tolkien, Carl Barks, Don Rosa, Bill Watterson, Shigesato Itoi, and the filmmakers, authors, writers, and artists behind too many good films, novels, and other works of art/entertainment to mention here.

He intends to spend his years on planet Earth ousting the many, many stories stuck inside his head onto the page so that he can live in peace.
